Our story
The problem was always the same.
In 2024, our founding team spent six months embedded with buyback operations across Jakarta. The grading problem was everywhere. One counter would offer Rp 2.8M for a device another counter graded at Rp 3.5M. Customers noticed. Arguments happened. Margins leaked.
The price-list problem was worse. Most operations updated their reference prices once a month, sometimes less. Meanwhile the secondary market in Jakarta moves daily. A Galaxy S23 Ultra that was worth Rp 8.2M last Tuesday might be worth Rp 7.6M today because a refurbished batch cleared at auction.
We built Kitar to grade from photos rather than opinions, and to price from today's market rather than last month's spreadsheet. The company launched in 2025 and opened early access to operators in 2026.
